Wow! What a great event! The Kids in the Park event was at Bidwell Park’s One Mile Picnic area. It was a community wide event that our church hosted. Seventeen groups that care about children’s safety came out to support with information booths as well as games for kids. We had more than 50 local businesses donate prizes for the raffle.

All the money raised at the event goes to support Kases for Kids - a program that helps Butte County’s Family Services. Kases for Kids provides a backpack, toiletries and comfort items to the kids that are taken into foster care. It is one item that is their very own that they can control in a time in their life when everything is out of control.
